Registration is required. There are 100 seats available.

Visitors will have the rare opportunity to view selected objects from the Collection up close, including examples of textile art, embroidery, dress, and experimental samples from across the globe. The collection curator will be on hand to share insights into the histories, techniques, and stories behind the pieces on display.

Founded in the 1980s by Constance Howard and Audrey Walker, the Collection spans continents and traditions, and is complemented by rich teaching materials and archival holdings. During your visit, you can also explore the Gallery’s specialist reference library, which offers an extensive range of historical, anthropological, and technical resources on textiles, fibre art, materials, and techniques, as well as rare books, exhibition catalogues, and artist publications.
