Going Beyond Goldsmiths: Using Other Libraries Online
This workshop highlights a range of options for expanding the scope of your research beyond Goldsmiths. The session will include a guide to using other libraries in London such as Senate House Library (the main University of London Library), how to find Open Access resources, and how to make Inter-Library Loan requests.
By the end of this session students should be able to:
- Go beyond Library Search to find relevant resources outside of Goldsmiths Library collections
- Compare the collections of other online libraries and web sites for access to research resources
- Understand the best way to obtain further resources, including requesting items via inter-library loan
- Consider a range of online search tools to find open access e-resources
