This event is an introduction to the Student Library Rep role for those accepted and participating in the project from January to May 2025.

During the Introductory training sessions, you will have an opportunity to meet other SLRs, and some of the Library team. 

This session will give you the opportunity to learn more about the scheme's aims, potential areas of focus for your project, an introduction to the library with an overview of the different areas in an academic library service, as well as the Liberate our Library project at Goldsmiths Library. 

Two in-person introductory events will take place on the following days:

• Friday 24th January (11am)
• Wednesday 29th January (2pm)

You will only be required to attend one of these two sessions.

This will take place in the Prokofiev Room, which is on the 2nd floor of the Library.
