Careers Team: The 3 Tools You Need As a Student to Support Your Career Journey In-Person

Did you know as a Goldsmiths student you have exclusive access to 3 poweful tools that can supercharge your Career Journey?

This session will walk you though the different systems available to enhance your career journey, from identifying your skills and areas for improvement to job searching and getting your CV ready to practising and preparing for interviews. Each session will include a live practice session of tools available so if you have a laptop, tablet or phone, bring it along to join in and get the most from the session. It is recommended that you attend the whole session for maximum benefit. 

Graduates First

If you have an interview lined up, or plan to attend an interview in future, Graduates First is just for you! You will learn about the range of tests and exercises that employers often include as part of the interview process such as numerical reasoning and situational judgement tests. You will also learn how to use the interview question identifier to find out typical questions you may be asked at an interview, the AI video interview tool to get instant feedback on your interview technique and have the opportunity to practice along with the tests. 

SkillSPACE

SkillSPACE is your one-stop shop for a whole host of short videos and articles focused on everything career related such as discovering your career possibilities, industry insights, how to go about job hunting and career wellbeing. You will practice uploading your CV to CV360 and get instant feedback on it. 

CareerSPACE

Ready to look for a job or volunteering role? Here you will learn how to find paid employment and volunteering opportunities on the jobs board based on your specific requirements. You will also learn about the different appointment types available to you via the Careers Service and how to book appointments with our expert team.
