Intro to Special Collections & Archives: Celebrating Black History Month

Intro to Special Collections & Archives: Celebrating Black History Month In-Person

Are you new to research and exploration within archives and special collections? Join us to find out how collections are accessed, what 'special collections' are, and how you might use them for your research or creative practice. To celebrate Black History Month, all the examples we will explore will celebrate the history, accomplishment and creativity of black individuals and communities. We’ll look at material across history, music, art, social organizing, and theatre.
