Research In-Person
In this session we will consider research as open-ended exploration and engagement with information ; introduce you to some methods that will help you to choose and evaluate resources when gathering information ; and identify further databases and libraries that you can use for your research.
By the end of this session students should be able to:

Define what we mean by research and be confident in identifying relevant research methods to support your argument

Understand the need to seek multiple perspectives and critically evaluate resources during information gathering

Determine appropriate Library search tools and help where needed
