SLR Job Shadowing - Special Collections In-Person
Special Collections & Archives collects, cares for, curates and makes available archives and special collections for research, teaching, art practice or public interest. We're open to everyone from inside and outside Goldsmiths. Our wide ranging work involves collection planning and strategy, acquiring, accessioning, cataloguing, storing, preserving and giving access to collections; providing online tools to search and interact with our collections; developing and leading or facilitating workshops, events and exhibitions; promoting collections through advertising, research fellowships, artist residencies and other means. Job shadowing will involve interacting with different types of collections, a tour of the stores, and hearing about how we try to accomplish everything in our wide-ranging remit.
Special Collections & Archives are located on the ground floor of the library at the back of the building.
