Job Shadowing - Subject Librarian Team In-Person
The Subject Team is a team of librarians each of whom has specific responsibility to liaise with individual departments – both students and staff. They each deliver department-tailored training to students in classes and in one-to-one meetings. They also deliver a programme of more general research skills training to students across departments. They are responsible for building the collections for each department – both the physical collection and the digital. They then organise these resources into subject guides, specific for each department, on the library website, so that the information can be most effectively accessed and used. Shadowing in this team will include aspects of these responsibilities, eg preparation for training and working on subject guides.
