GRO, Open Access and REF 2021 In-Person
In this session the Goldsmiths Research Online (GRO) team will cover a number of topics relating to GRO, including a brief history of the repository, that will be of interest to library staff. The GRO team will give an introduction to the repository itself with an overview of the deposit process. This will include the use of the advanced search function, and outputting of reports, which may be useful to library staff on the helpdesk. Also to be discussed are the copyright issues, including the 'green' and 'gold' routes to Open Access (OA), the REF 2021 OA Policy and the recent implementation of a functionality to mint DOIs.
