Critical Thinking in Special Collections In-Person

This event is part of the Student Library Rep role for those accepted and participating in the project from January to May 2025.

Join us for a hands-on workshop designed to enhance your critical thinking skills within the context of special collections and archives. This session will explore the challenges and opportunities presented by unique archival materials. Participants will learn how to critically analyse primary sources, assess their historical significance, and learn how to handle objects.

This event will be held in the Special Collections & Archives Reading Room. This can be found on the ground floor of the Library. When facing the Library help desk, it is to the right.

If you have any access requirements or adjustment needs, please email us and we will make sure all the locations and formats for the sessions are accessible for all. And, if you have any allergies, please also let us know so that we can make sure the refreshments for the event are safe for everyone.
